Seems like activity is picking up again after the holidays ‘slump’, because we have 6 new releases for you today. And from a lot of famous and fan-favorite circles, on top of that! There’s one more Miko Miko Suika from Haniwa, plus a gritty Wriggle doujin by Fusuma and a contemplative piece by Personal Color. Plus, there’s our first full-length release by amazing artist Kemonomichi and plus two doujins with some very particular sense of humour by Bear’s Walking Path and Seventh Warehouse (aka Yamato Nadeshiko). And here we are, back with you for another year of Touhou-ness. And since there has been no lack of doomsayers saying this year will end with a bang, we decided we’d rather start it with a bang instead! So here you have five releases, most of which can only be described as exciting and saucy. So, yeah, hope you weren’t looking for anything too relaxing or modest, ’cause these doujins are more like the opposite of that! (But we will have more of the other kind later on, I assure you.)

Guess what folks, this time the last Gaku Update of the year happens to fall exactly on Christmas Day! So it’s a great chance to wish a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our readers. Not many new releases today, unfortunately. Probably consequence of translators and editors being busy with the pre-holiday season. But we assure there are more stuff on the works, so look forward to more stuff in for the Christmas Day update. Meanwhile, you can still enjoy our two new releases, a gorgeously and cleverly colored Yukari x Reimu by Rireba, and a short Sakuya story by always popular Stripe Pattern. Scarlet Weather Rhapsody Translation Patch v1.1

As with Hisoutensoku, Tasofro has recently released an update for the standard version of Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. We’ve updated the patch accordingly; you can download it at this link. Make sure that SWR is updated to version 1.06a before attempting to install the patch; you can get the game patch from Tasofro’s webpage at this link. You can find a full changelog for this patch after the break.

Fixed the clipping of the left side of some text.
Profile names now support SJIS correctly.
Several typo and alignment fixes.
Fixed several bugged win quotes.
Added Reisen’s missing win quote.

Gaku Cats and Dogs Update

So, today’s update is all about cats and dogs (with rats and foxes and crows thrown in for good measure), or the characters associated with them. Or even ones that usually aren’t, in some cases. But the best thing is that not only there are eight of them, there’s a lot of fan-favorite circles that hadn’t been on the updates for some time, like ANGELTYPE, happy flame time and canaria mint (Japanese doujin circles don’t seem to quite grasp English capitalization rules). So, go ahead and enjoy all this animal similitude goodness!

Ten Desires English Patch ver. 1.0

The English patch for Ten Desires is ready!

You can download the patch by clicking the image above (or on this link). You’ll need to be sure that Ten Desires is updated to version 1.00c; you can download the game update patch from ZUN’s website (here) if you need it.

As with the Fairy Wars patch, just point the installer to the folder containing Ten Desires and hit Patch.

Like the other English patches, spellcard names in the results screen will appear in mojibake (scrambled text) until the card has been encountered once after patching, at which point the name will appear correctly in English.
