That’s it folks, more than two and a half years since the Inaba series debuted and we started translating it, and it’s finally finished! Was it really that long ago? (Yes.)

Even thought it was the “less official” and more inconsequential sister in the Bougetsushou releases – and possibly because of that – it was the most popular with the fans. And it certainly provided a new view on the Eientei residents as well as on the people who interacted with them during the series. So here’s a special thanks to everyone else who worked on this series: Solamarle, Pilpsie, Tetrominon, Trefle, Rukaroa and Yanfly. (･_･) b Good Job!

So, if you didn’t catch up with it while it was being released, you can get a compilation of all the 30 chapters, plus extras, in the link on the picture above. Otherwise, just keep reading for the individual link to the last chapter.

Oh, but lest the rabbits monopolize this update, don’t forget to check out the releases by UkiUki watching (if you are into lighthearted stories) or the one by Fuantei (if you are into heartless stories).

Official – Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth Chapter 30

The final episode, the second Lunar Exhibition. And in the end, what happens to Reisen, Tewi and the rest of Eientei?.

UkiUki Watching – Conversation of Mind

Satori wanders out to the surface, and ends up in an unexpected meeting with the Moriya maiden.

UkiUki Watching – Please Tell Me!

Kogasa really wants to surprise Sanae, so she will go through all the training and new tactics she can in order to achieve it.

Fuantei – A-V-P

Two things must be said about Fuantei: 1) The circle’s author is Furari; 2) He’s a horrible, horrible person.

Thanks to Lunachild, Nameless Fairie, Rukaroa, Aratta~♪, Cappy, Mae and everyone else!

This is the second installment of Touhou Bunkachou (Shoot the Bullet), which I think of as more of an extra than a full game.

This game will torture you with so much danmaku that even if you thought, “Forget stories or development or anything, I just wanna kill time with a short minigame,” you’ll spend hours slaving away, loving every moment.

If I had to explain the story, it’d be something along the lines of “Aya Shameimaru, Tengu Reporter, persistently takes photos of humans and youkai and whatever else and records them in her list of defeated enemies.”

Using tengu power, taking a photo of danmaku will make the danmaku disappear; use this ability to dodge the enemy’s danmaku. The game definitely has strong puzzle game elements.

All characters and scenes featured in Touhou Bunkachou ~Shoot the Bullet will return for this second installment, along with brand new content! On sale for 1,000 JPY at the Shanghai Alice Ensemble booth at Reitaisai for 1,000 JPY! Please take a look if you’re interested.

Okay, it’s almost time for the update so this one will be actually brief. What we have today is another chapter of Mischievous Fairies goodness, an intense fight doujin by Tohonifun, an unusual pairing that works surprisingly well, and the oldest in a comedy series featuring the charismatic leader of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. So, with no further delay, here they are:

Official – Strange and Bright Nature Deity 11

The Three Fairies of Light are back, and they lose no time in proving that faeries can make even mining gear look cute.

Tohonifun – Yuka vs. Byakuren Reloaded

CATFIGHT! …I mean, Yuka and Byakuren get in an intense showdown to see who possesses the greater power. Throw in some Murasa for added epic value.

BIBASUKU – Gensokyo Escape

Sanae and Reisen? An improbable pairing maybe, but they soon find out that the have a lot in common. For better or worse.

Makegumi Club – Please Remilia

A story about… actually, I’m not entirely sure what this doujinshi is about. “Hilarious SDM hijinks” would be my best bet. (Note: Some light nudity.)

Thanks to CGrascal, Lunachild, Solamarle, Crazygamer, Mysterio006, Rukaroa, Mae, JStar and everyone else!

Here is our update. Enjoy.

…

…

…

…what? I just thought I could convey the general idea in a few words, don’t look at me like that! It worked fine for the Spartans. (And, speaking of Sparta… well, better not bring it on right now, just wait for a future update.)

But anyway, if you want a summary of what we have this time: we get close to the end of the Inaba series with one more chapter of lagomorph goodness , we DO get to the long-awaited end of the Touhou Battle Royale series, plus an epic youkai battle (that spent around a year in the works), another release from everyone’s favorite toxic substance and Satori like you’ve never seem her before.

So, be it many or few words, I believe you will find lots of fun either way.

Official – Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth Chapter 29

In this penultimate chapter, all of Eientei is busy preparing for the Second Lunar Exhibition. And as usual, everyone is contributing with what they do best.

Ice Rain – The Night the Beast Cries

Keine must give all of her strength to defend the Human Village. But what is the true nature of her strong opponent?

Omchicken – Energetic Satorin

The usually mild-mannered Satori is driven beyond the edge by sensory overload. The results could be either described as adorable or terrifying.

Dioxin – Akeome

It’s Dioxin again! By now you should know the drill: 4-panel comics, lameawesome puns and cute Cirno doing cute Cirno stuff.

ACID CLUB EAST – Touhou Battle Royale Vol.6

The final volume. In the end, what will all the blood and tears come down to?

Thanks to Pilpsie, Furball, orange, Rukaroa, BAF, Mae, Mysterio006, Aratta~♪, Moekou and everyone else!

So, hum, yeah, here’s an update for you, but it’s just because I had some free time to type it up. Oh, and we have five new releases for you this time. But don’t start having weird ideas, it’s just… we just made too much and thought you might want some, OK? That’s all! It-It’s not like we did it specially for you or anything!

This time, there’s Inaba of the Moon and Earth back (but it’s not like there’s anything special about it, I don’t even like it that much… well, I do. But just a little! ), also back is Tohonifun’s epic Yukari vs Ran series (not like there’s anything special about it, really… ), a stunning Marisa-centered story by DEMOUR402 (Marisa is so overrated. I mean, she is pretty and confident and energetic and… no, forget I said anything! ), an old Winter Scenery work where their Rinnosuke-hurting gag started (Who likes Rinnosuke anyway? I mean, I sympathize a little with him, but that’s different…) and while ACID CLUB EAST’s Touhou Battle Royale finale is still not up, there’s another release with the same backdrop by Pageratta (It’s fine and all, but it’s not like I care for humour or colors or anything.)

But we are just doing this because it’s out job, alright? It’s not like we like you or anything.

But… but we don’t hate you either…

With the return of the Watatsuki princesses to the Moon, Earth-Lunar relations are back to normal and Gensokyo is safe from destruction by accidental fanning. So everything is once again peaceful at the Eientei. But for how long?

Tohonifun – Break

On the sixth and penultimate chapter of Tohonifun’s Ran vs Yukari saga, things get extremely violent and chaotic in Gensokyo, thanks to the pent-up rage of the Scarlet Sisters.

DEMOUR402 – ALFA and OMEGA

Marisa wanted to go to the outside world to learn the advanced magic they had there. But in order to do that, what and who did she have go through, and then leave behind? (Also, a special appearance. )

winter scenery – Yukari’s Diet Journal ~ Kourindou Suffering Chapter

Yukari’s last meeting with the weight scale didn’t go that well, so the Yakumos enlist the help of Rinnosuke in finding a way to lose weight quickly. Hilarity and pain ensue.

Pageratta – Touhou Battle Royale

Unlike the Touhou Battle Royale series by ACID CLUB EAST, this series of 4-panel comics has more of a humorous spin to the story, albeit a violent kind of humour.

So, after the expectation, here we are in an update just in the middle of the celebrations of Christmas, New Year, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Hogswatch (and whatever else you kids celebrate these days). And just as expected from the middle of a holiday period, our doujin releasing business isn’t exactly a-boomin’, but never-the-less we have a holiday present for you. So, take the chance and check out this Miko Miko Suika release we have, before the year ends (and the new Comiket 77 releases start coming out).

Thanks to everyone who contributed to our releases in 2009 . Thanks to all your effort, we got more than 100 releases (110, exactly) out this year!

And of course, thanks to all our readers and fellow Touhou fans. Here’s hoping for a great 2010, and even more Touhou doujinshi for everyone!

I believe it’s safe to guess that, at this time of the year, a lot of us are pretty much just waiting for the holidays to arrive (unless you actually have your birthday in the middle of December, I guess). And, of course, if you are reading this it’s likely that you will be waiting for the next Winter Comiket to take place as well, with it’s avalanche of releases (and the bittersweet pain from the increasing backlog of doujins waiting to be translated…). So, while you are expecting, here are three more releases for you, including the latest from FLIPFLOPs, one of the most popular Touhou doujin circles which was absent to the scene for a while.

FLIFLOPs – Far East Hallucination – Youmu Konpaku’s Chapter

In this long-delayed sequel to the last FLIPFLOPs work, we follow the daily life life of Youmu, a young and energetic schoolgirl living fun adventures with her quirky schoolmates! …no, wait…

Kagero – Meeting/Parting

Before her definite trip, Sanae has a “preview visit” to Gensokyo, where she meets one of its typical denizens.

ACID CLUB EAST – Touhou Battle Royale Vol.5

The penultimate volume. After so much death has taken place, it’s time for those who deal with Death itself to come forward.

Thanks to Lunachild, Furball, Rukaroa, Moekou and everyone else!

Because it’s time to post the update already and it’s late and I’m tired and really can’t think of any clever thematic title (Thanksgiving would have been too easy, and inaccurate), so that’s what you get this time. But well, when we take a look at all you get in this update, I guess it doesn’t look so bad. An epic Scarlet-centered tale by Demour402, the latest work from Can’t Fix the Helmet, the oldest one from Dioxin, and another installment of the Touhou Battle Royale series. I am sure you will find creativity enough in these works to compensate for the lack of it this post, so enjoy!

Demour402 – Here No More

A dramatic (and violent) story about Remilia and Flandre’s past …and about something very dear that they lost.

Can’t Fix the Helmet – ‘Voile’ Cursed Book’s Book Curse

Aya decides to investigate a rumour about a cursed book in the SDM’s library. Could it be that some books are so terrifying that they are meant to never be read?

Dioxin – RECYCLE or DIE

One of, if not the oldest Touhou doujinshi from Dai-Oki, but already displaying the typical, Dioxin-style humor that made them so famous.

ACID CLUB EAST – Touhou Battle Royale Vol.4

In the fourth part of this tragic series, Youmu, Yuyuko and Yukari are the ones that take the front of the stage.

Thanks to Furball, glasnost, Orange, Aratta~♪, yggdrasil325, JStar, Moekou and everyone else!

And if you were long expecting the next volume of the bloody Touhou Battle Royale series, then you’ll like to know that work on this series was taken up again and we have one volume up today.
