Gaku Cute Creepy Update
Looking through the seven updates we have this time, I couldn’t help but notice that, with the exception of Silent Sinner in Blue, they all seem to dwell in that border between cute and creepy that’s so common in Touhou. More specifically, we have two doujins about Flandre (who practically embodies this concept), plus three doujins by Fuantei (a circle known for going to weird places), not top mention Tohonifun with a little of Tenshi slapstick masochism. So yeah, if you are in for some lack of normalcy and pacifism, you’ll probably love these.

As Silent Sinner in Blue nears its conclusion, some are left to wonder of what was the fate of Reimu & Co. at the hands of the Lunarians. (Note: This is a temporary low quality scanlation.)
Aozora Market – Windfall
Flandre wants to go out to get something, and it’s up to the heroines to avoid her “lack of social tract” from causing massive destruction.
Chenezumi Itaya – Kagome
A short and dark story about Flandre, her sister and her “toys”.
Tohonifun – S&E
Upon seeing Tenshi in trouble, Iku seems… well, quite amused actually.
Fuantei – Immortal
The story of how young Mokou met her fate, told from a rather hate-filled perspective.
Fuantei – Kill Me
Speaking of bullying Tenshi, she eventually goes to Gensokyo’s biggest sadist to try to fulfill her masochistic tendencies. (Warning: Some heavy images and language.)
Fuantei – Don’t Touch Me
What is it about Suwako that makes others go out of their heads for her? And more importantly, how does she deal with the results?

Question for someone in the know:
Has the torrent worked successfully in terms of keeping the bandwidth limit in check? I know the big worry was not the new releases but the old stuff, so I’m curious to see whether or not the fix worked.
The torrent is not advertised as a primary source, and the gallery link is dead. There is some traffic on the torrent, but I bet most of the people just don’t know what’s going on. Hopefully this will get sorted out sooner or later.

To me, SSiB will always and forever be the main definition of “disappointment”. I mean, let’s face it. It had a slow, dispersive beginning, which served only to “show off” the drawing quality of Aki Eda (clean and impressive, in my opinion); then it suddenly shifts to something unintelligible, which you might think it could be turn out to be awesome, but no, it still is boring and tedious as the beginning. Even when it finally seemed there would’ve been some good old danmaku battles, I felt pretty astonished at the relative lack of them, if we don’t mention the poor quality. It’s like “Planescape: Torment”: dialogues and character interaction quash action scenes.
In my humble opinion, I see it as a grandly-diluted ReimuXGarisa with too many (unnecessary) secondary characters. ZUN should’ve called someone better: it feels like his original story had been resized in order to fit the actual narrative ability of Aki Eda. Why couldn’t he call the very same guy who brought us such marvel that goes by the name of “Alpha And Omega”? Was he too busy at the time?
I don’t like to repeat myself, but I have to: to me, SSiB will always and forever be the main definition of “disappointment”.
