Gaku “Up” Update
So our archive is back up again and it’s once again time for a proper update. And for due properness (wow, I didn’t know this was an actual word) we have a new Inaba release, the latest books by Tako and Dai-Oki, plus three featured releases by Wings of Yuri.
And, since I don’t know what else to say, here they are:

Noticed a typo on Hayai page 9 (Huh, interesting that it’s on page 9), where Marisa’s thought bubble has “vilolent” instead of “violent” (unless that was intentional?). Also, nifty, my “KirbyM” handwriting font is used on that same page! That’s the first time I’ve seen it used anywhere.
But anyway, it’s nice finally knowing what that doujin’s about, since I’ve had a physical copy of it for months without understanding any of it. In any case, keep up the nice work!
Yeah, the typo was intentional. The joke is that Marisa says “vilolent”, then sees the word on Keine’s back, and then learns the correct spelling.
And yeah, haha, didn’t think anyone would notice that I used it. It’s not the first time, either. o3o
hi, I’m wondering if you guys have ever thought of distributing your entire archive via torrent, and whenever you make new releases, update the torrent? Perhaps you could use a tracker such as tokyotosho or whathaveyou.
I really with that the j was lowercase, but whatever. Thanks for the nice update. Nice to see that I’m mentioned.

Gensokyo.org itself won’t distribute by torrent, but anyone that knows how to is more than welcome to do it. Just remember that updates occur every other Sunday on the Western Hemisphere.

The main problem of bittorrent is that updating is not easy: you have to make a new .torrent file and distribute it, but it seems it confuses many users that continue using the old .torrent file.
Moreover using the .torrent you cannot easily rename files as the bittorrent client will download the file a second time thinking that it is not there any more.
Yet, a mirror of the whole archive updated `once in a while’ is a good idea.
