Archive Revival
Thank you for your patience, everyone! While the gallery itself may not be back, the archive more or less is. For now, every file is going to be dumped in the same location until the admin figures out what to do. And here is that file dump:

The link has also been posted on the Touhou Wiki’s Comics page and Comics by Release page for other who visit there regularly.
If anyone would like to help redirect the zip links in the Touhou wiki to the proper address, you’re more than welcome to do so until the admin straightens out the plans and design for the archives.

Awesome. For those who don’t know, there’s a torrentof most (except May-June 2009?) releases, fully seeded.
I think with the archive back on a temporary basis Etb will be able to roll a v3 torrent that includes every release thus far.

Thanks for the amazing update. I’ll try to fix the links the best I can, but I can’t help but notice that some links are missing. Some that I’ve come across so far are Hole of Yago – Weird and SSiB chapter 15. Either they’re missing or I’m not looking hard enough. ;^^

Those were the ones that the admin had. I’ll upload my stuff that’s not already in there tomorrow, and Nietz will upload the newer releases that I don’t have at some point.

@Ruka: I don’t suppose you could make a post or something listing the stuff you’ve added since the archive was brought back up? There’s a lot of stuff in there, and it’s become difficult to try to figure out what I haven’t already gotten (from etb’s torrent and then from comparing those to the original archive list)…

Hm, I guess what I was trying to get at is, I was glancing through the archive a few minutes before I made my post, and I found a few things that weren’t in even that prospective v3 (which, itself, matches what I had found when I was comparing v2 and the newly uploaded archive)… Noticing you had mentioned you were still adding stuff to the archive, Ruka, that’s why I had asked, hoping to find out what you had added.
Never mind my previous post… following up on Ruka’s response, I’ve been going back through the earlier entries and grabbing (or, at least, attempting to grab) the stuff I don’t recognize from my other checks.
Since Ruka seems actually reading this messages: there are many duplicates in the archive, I think you should remove them.

Moreover there are some files with the .zip extension that are actually .rar files.
While Winrar will not be confused, I think you should put the correct extension:

There’s something about the way their archive alphabetizes itself that titles that are in all caps or all lower end up being put before or after titles with alternating caps/lower. I’m sure that’s what caused the redundancy in those files. It looks like it’s been taking care of.
I was going to mention that I had discovered, in my search yesterday, a few doujinshi that hadn’t made their way into the archive yet, but I see that they’ve been added, so, at this point, the only one that I saw that isn’t up yet is “Winter Scenery – Madam Hina’s Misfortune Cleansing Parlour”, other than the things added right before the crash (the Rumiac World shorts).

Yes, it seems the duplicates are not there any more, but the .rar files called with the .zip extension are still there.
I wonder if Ruka actually recompressed them with the .zip algorithm.
I think I got what I can do sorted out. The file extensions should all be zip except for an Another Dream music album. If there’s any errors or discrepancy with that, I can’t do anything about it.
If there’s any other missing files, I don’t have them since I just finished uploading everything in my backups. Nietz has already been contacted, and he should fill those in if he has them.
