Immaterial and Missing Power Tutorial Video

Just recently, the guys from #iamp finished a tutorial video project for Immaterial and Missing Power. It covers most, if not all, of the basics for those who are starting out on the game, and it even makes a handy guide for casual players to brush up on.
Props go to Bellresia, Xenozip, Mauve, and everyone else involved in making the vid!

decent tutorial. annoying voice.
Couldnt’ Agree more..annoying subs.
Why didn’t this exist before?!
It makes things make so much more sense now.
Just in time for SWR!
Interesting…maybe now I’ll stand a chance when I play.
That’s very informative but… why until just now? why couldn’t they make this earlier?
Immac: Motivation, really. The right people had to be around at the right times and interested in doing it.
And, for the most part, the documentation available on the IaMP wiki and help from users on the IRC channel was fairly sufficient for anyone really interested in learning to play. It just didn’t do much to make people want to learn it in the first place, though, which is a lot of what this tutorial is about.
hope the SWR one won’t be late…
@mauve
:/ i wanted to learn how to play but i never knew there was a wiki for it un til just acouple of months, also it’s hard for me to follow the numeric system direction layout TTATT Anyway I’m really bad at this game even with this, i just can’t play Fighting games well (Maybe excluding Smash Bros) because I like improvising more than memorizing combos
hiroy: We will not be doing a SWR tutorial in the foreseeable future, for a variety of reasons. Not the least of which being that it’s very new, will likely be patched several times, and it will take time to get a full grasp on the game’s mechanics, and we would not want to spread misinformation at this stage.
Immac: Try playing Yuyuko. She has virtually no combos or strings to memorize, and is all about good movement and thinking.
Besides, with all the screwy move and buttong designations, as well as the card’s functions and graze/block properties, it’s hard to tell unless we have the final version of the game.
And uh, no offense, IaMP is still better than SWR IMO.
It would be best to wait until SWR is out before saying that, no?
