It’s Gaku Update Time!

And here we are again with our bi-weekly update. There’s seven new releases this time, including the penultimate entry in the Utsuho of the Void series, plus another release by prolific circle Millet Soup, and more stories, both by old and new circles. So, as usual, I hope you enjoy these!

Autumn Drizzle Shrimp – Utsuho of the Void Chapter 4

Mirror

Utsuho’s rampage is quickly coming to a climax in this fourth part, as a recovered Youmu faces her off again.

MARCH – Bamboo Shoots

Mirror

Because of both of their masters’ whims, Youmu and Reisen end up in a shooting battle over bamboo shoots.

Millet Soup – We’ll Perform a Wonderful Encounter

Mirror

In one of her visits to the SDM, Alice suddenly gets to know of the little sister of the house.

Blue – Lovely Life With You

Mirror

A heartwarming, if somehow strange, story about the future life of Sakuya, Meiling and… their daughter?

Lotus Seat – Narakagoku Destination

Mirror

Shikieiki and Komachi go pay a long-delayed courtesy visit to the Old Hell. But even though they are deep in the underground, many unexpected things might surface.

Bococho Farm – Drill Field

Mirror

The two Touhou girls known for their drill power go on a contest to see who has the most spiral energy. Tenshi gets tied up and brought along, for some reason.

Sys-Lila – Just the Two – After

Mirror

A colored story with some unusual artwork about Kanako and Suwako’s daily relationship and its future.

Thanks for the update, been waiting for utsuho! Also new Millet Soup :)

By the way, does anyone know if VISIONNERZ’s Maiden’s illusionary funeral phantasm has been completed? I read the Phantasm -former part- which ended in kind of a cliffhanger but the author said in the afterword that he will complete the story in the next part. Well, the phantasm -first part- was published over 2 years ago. Has it been completed or did the author discontinue it? I’d love to see how Yuyuko became as she is now.

Anyways, great job for keeping up this site and keeping the updates flowing!

    @1 Fixed the link.
@2 Phantasm’s latter part hasn’t been published yet. VISIONNERZ has released 3 other unrelated works since the first part, so I’m not sure if they have dropped it or are taking their time. Let’s hope for the latter.

    @Nietz

Thanks for the reply. Lets hope they didnt throw it out of the window, because Maiden’s illusionary funeral is one of the best doujin series i’ve gotten my hands on. It might be non-canon but it offers a plausible explanation for many interesting things about yukari, yuyuko, youki and other stuff.

By the way, millet soup didnt let me down this time either!

    So beautiful!
Everything from Gensokyo lesbian’s paradise, to friends meeting and overcoming difficulties together, to hilarious and clever action.
And then there was Drill Field. I knew something was up when I enjoyed all those fun with Nue books from before. But I’m actually scared by how much I enjoyed Drill Field. Girls are punishing… I will never see Hina the same way again. GYAA~! Aya-sama is brokeen!
Oh, and Utsuho of the void rocks once again!

    Great job y’all!

It always brightens my day to see an update here.
I was wondering, however, if there was any particular reason they used the name “Kurenai Sakuya” instead of “Hong” in “Lovely Life With You.” Was it done on purpose by the artist? And if so, why? I’ve heard that Meiling’s name used to be mispronounced as the Japanese reading often, but this is my first time actually seeing it that I can recall.

    Drill Field was… brutal.

    Poor Momiji…

And WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY PRECIOUS SANAE? Why does the good girl always end up abused ;(

@14 It was indeed pointedly spelled as Kurenai in the original. Probably a joke about Sakuya adopting the Japanese version of the family name of the “groom”. Apropos, I do remember an (untranslated) Ishikiriba doujin were Sakuya somewhat disdainfully calls Meiling “Misuzu-san”.
